Jackson Browne has just announced the first 10-dates of a fall tour in support of his first new studio set since, 2008’s Time The Conqueror. The new album, called Standing On The Breach, hits streets on October 7th — two days before his 66th birthday. Browne’s full-band fall dates will hit Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles, New York City; Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and York, Pennsylvania; Chicago; Akron and Columbus, Ohio; and Indianapolis, Indiana.
Browne, who is appearing acoustically this summer, spoke about the upcoming band shows to Pollstar, admitting, “This is my ideal band, with some of my favorite players, all of whom appear on the new CD, and whose combined gifts provide the musical foundation and emotional underpinnings of my new songs. The. . . effortlessness of their chemistry is a gift really, that just dropped into my lap. I feel fortunate to have them out on the road for this tour.”
