Diverse “All Woman Project” Redefines the Modeling World

Hoping to shape the modeling world, All Woman Project is currently taking the internet by storm. The foundation hopes to change the lives of women worldwide by “displaying a true, beautiful, positive and un-retouched image of women in photo and video campaigns throughout the year.”


With these photos and videos, they want to show women that what you see in magazines is not necessarily the definition of perfect. All Woman Project hopes to tackle body image and self-esteem issues that run rampant in everyday society. By showing models of all different size, race, and age they hope in inspire a generation of strong women who are proud of their appearance.



On their website, they write “we believe greatness starts with self-love and we’re dedicated to make every little girl convinced that she can do anything, regardless of her background or her body,”



The campaign would like to celebrate physical flaws or imperfections. All photos that you see on their website and social media sites are 100% photoshop-free.

Started by Charli Howard and Clementine Desseaux, they were inspired by personal experiences to start this foundation. In 2015, Howard was dropped from her modeling agency. Ever since, she questioned the idea of inclusivity and wanted to show that every woman is beautiful. She teams up with Desseaux in 2016 and decided to create a series of editorials featuring all different types of models.

After the first series of photos, the clothing brand Aerie teams up with the duo in order to make an even larger campaign. Every woman seen in the campaign has a different story, job, and individuality.

However, their goals do not end there. This year, they announced that they will become a charity as well as a movement. All Women Project states that they want to “do more than only release diverse images. Now we’re going to go out to schools with some of our team members from both campaigns and make a real change for girls, locally, where it’ the most needed.”

We cannot wait to see where this project will go!
