Who am I? I am simply a chick who grew up in the country of eastern Carolina in a little town called Ahoskie. I graduated high school and literally fell into radio because of my boyfriend at the time worked at our local station. Needless to say, we hung out at the station a lot. That was actually back in the days of actually playing vinyl records (if you’re too young to remember, don’t ask...lol). It’s really weird how things work out huh? My radio career has taken me to lands far, far away in Valdosta, Georgia, Franklin, Virginia and various eastern Carolina locations! But, I think my greatest job, by far, is being a mom to three kids; Ryan, Brandi and Austin. To me, being a mom is number one! My two oldest kids live out of state and Austin is a junior in high school (I’m already dreading empty nest syndrome). I have a terrific man in my life (Wayne Carlyle calls him “Mr. Wonderful”), I call him Mike or sweetie or another term of endearment.  In my spare time, I take classes at Pitt Community College, I’m a facebooker (is that a word? It is now..lol),I fish, shag and enjoy hanging with friends. I’m happy to be in eastern Carolina and I’m tickled pink to have such terrific listeners like you! I am very, very blessed!
